Family and health
These come first. Always. Wealth should serve the person, not the other way around.
When you meet me, you will likely hear some of my story.
When I was seven years old, my father died suddenly of an undiagnosed heart issue. Years later, in my twenties, I nearly died from the same genetic heart condition.
I don’t share this information to highlight my pain or make this story about me. I share it because those experiences shaped how I see life, family, and responsibility.
I have spent the better part of my life thinking about the big questions:
One thing I have come to believe very deeply is this: your family and your health are everything.
This is what it’s all about. That’s why we do what we do.
That belief shapes the way I work with clients. We do serious, high-level financial planning grounded in thoughtful work around taxes, investments, estate planning, and the many moving parts that need to come together properly. But even as we do that technical work, I am always thinking about the person sitting in front of me. Their family. Their stress. Their values. Their future. Their health. Their peace of mind.
Money, on its own, doesn’t create peace or happiness. In fact, I have seen situations where more money brought more stress, more confusion, and more strain within a family.
With proper financial planning, wealth can be leveraged to help you achieve peace, harmony, and happiness in your life—for you and the people you care about.
I know how quickly life can change. I know one event can alter the course of a family forever.
I also know that good decisions can be made starting right now.
Today is your chance to take a step on the path to a better life.
These come first. Always. Wealth should serve the person, not the other way around.
We believe in being honest with people. You’ll always know where you stand and what we truly think.
Service isn’t a slogan to us. It’s a real sense of responsibility to be helpful and available for the people who trust us.
We handle the details carefully, follow a disciplined process, and pay close attention to the decisions that can shape your financial life.
At the end of the day, this work should help people live with more peace, more clarity, and a greater appreciation for what truly matters.
Estate planning is one of the clearest expressions of what you value.
It isn’t only about what happens after you are gone. It’s also about how you prepare your family while you are here. It’s about whether the right people are in the right roles. Whether your wishes are clear. Whether vulnerable family members are protected. Whether avoidable stress, confusion, and conflict can be reduced before they ever begin.
This is an area of planning we care deeply about, both personally and professionally.
William Curtosi holds the Trust and Estate Practitioner designation, bringing added depth to our Waterloo estate planning conversations. This credential is far less common in wealth management and is more often associated with lawyers and accountants.
At the centre of every estate plan is a family. At the centre of every trust discussion is a real person. At the centre of every power of attorney, executor decision, or beneficiary review is a life that could become easier or harder depending on the decisions made today.
That is why this work matters so much to us.
We work best with people who want more than a conventional financial plan. They want thoughtful advice that reflects their values, supports the people they love, and helps them make wise decisions around wealth, family, and what comes next.
We work with:
Our work is built around thoughtful planning that brings the important pieces of your financial life together.
